Peter Burridge

Director & Chief Commercial Officer

Peter Burridge provides executive support to sales and customer management. He is responsible for capital financing and shareholder relationships, and oversees network and partner development.

Mr. Burridge started his career in the software industry and after enjoying great success in that arena, moved to the financial services industry in 2006 where he operated between London and Washington DC as the CEO of Travelex Global Business Payments, the world's largest non bank Foreign Exchange provider.

Before Travelex, Mr. Burridge held various executive positions at both Oracle and Siebel. He was President of Siebel Asia Pacific and Japan, and Senior Vice President of Sales at Oracle Asia Pacific.

Mr. Burridge has 20+ years experience in the areas of Technology, Business Solutions, Product Development, Sales and M&A, and is an active investor, board member and advisory board member to hyperWALLET Systems Inc. and FireScope.

Anthony De Werth

Chairman of the Board

Anthony De Werth has a proven business track record in Canada's public and financial markets.

Prior to his retirement in 1995, Mr. De Werth served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CIBC Wood Gundy Private Client Investments Inc. CIBC Wood Gundy is recognized as one of Canada's pre-eminent investment and banking firms.

Since his retirement, Mr. De Werth has become an active investor and board member in several technology companies.

Thomas Noyes

Director

Tom is currently Managing Partner of Starpoint LLP.

He has over 18 years experience in banking, payments, venture finance, eCommerce, mobile and product innovation. He has worked with leading banks, mobile operators, payment networks, and regulators globally to bring innovation to consumers.

Tom provides unique perspective based upon his global experience as a senior executive with: Citibank, Oracle, GartnerGroup as well as Silicon Valley start-ups. He has built high performance global teams focused on bringing new products to market, both directly to consumers and to Fortune 100 companies.

His Starpoint team is comprised of former CEOs and executives in payments, mobile, banking, software, advertising, venture capital, retail and sales.  

Lisa Shields

President & CEO

Lisa Shields is the founder and CEO of hyperWALLET Systems Inc. Over the past 13 years Ms. Shields has guided hyperWALLET from technology start-up to a respected international payments processor specializing in low value, cross-border clearing solutions.

Under Ms. Shields' guidance, hyperWALLET has become the de facto standard commission payments provider to the Direct Selling industry, a growing business sector with 90 million participants worldwide and over $150 billion in total sales.

In addition, hyperWALLET operates a financial services business line offering consumer-to-consumer account-based money transfer services.

Prior to founding hyperWALLET, Ms. Shields managed payments acceptance and risk management technology teams for high volume online merchants. Earlier in her career, she held a variety of technology management and technical software development roles.

Ms. Shields was a founding director of the Wireless Innovation Society of British Columbia, and speaks frequently on payment and technology issues with a personal interest in consumer remittances. She holds Bachelors and Masters of Science degrees in Engineering, both from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Scott White

B.A., LLB – Director

Since 2000, Scott White has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Parlay Entertainment Inc. (PEI:TSXV).

Prior to that time, Mr. White was engaged as a lawyer in the Province of Ontario, practicing in the areas of corporate/commercial law, administrative law and business law where he serviced a multinational, primarily corporate client base.

In addition to practicing law, Mr. White has been involved in a number of private and public enterprises as a director, officer and shareholder. Mr. White is a founding shareholder of Parlay Entertainment Inc. (PEI:TSX), Rattlesnake Ventures Inc. (RVI.P:TSXV), Frontenac Ventures Inc. and the founding partner of Bush Frankel White Barristers & Solicitors.
