Vancouver, B.C. – Hyperwallet Systems Inc. (“Hyperwallet”), a rapidly growing provider of global payment solutions, today announced the appointment of Thomas Noyes to the company’s Board of Directors.
Mr. Noyes has more than 18 years of experience working with leading banks, mobile operators, payment networks, and regulators globally to bring innovation to consumers. Having held senior executive roles at Citibank, Wachovia, Oracle and Silicon Valley startups, Tom’s unique global perspective will augment the already strong Hyperwallet team and will enhance the company’s global strategy and payments expertise.
“Global payments is not an easy business,” states Tom Noyes, a director of Hyperwallet. “Over the last 10 years, Hyperwallet has done the hard work of developing banking relationships in over 50 countries with the ability to disburse and clear funds in one to three business days. Only the largest commercial banks have provided this type of global network. With Hyperwallet consumers and business can pick their bank, or if unbanked, choose from a number of money services partners. This unique flexibility is why Fortune 50 organizations are using our services.”
“Globally we project two to three trillion dollars of new electronic flows over the next five to seven years as governments and businesses eliminate checks. Hyperwallet’s global capability is in the sweet spot of this opportunity. We reduce the complexity for senders by giving consumers the power to decide how to manage money they receive.”
Tom is currently Managing Partner of Starpoint LLP. His Starpoint team is comprised of former CEOs and executives in payments, mobile, banking, software, advertising, venture capital, retail and sales.
