Payments eXchange Names Hyperwallet the Best Corporate or Government Funded Payments Program

San Francisco, California – Hyperwallet, a leading global outbound payments provider to the new economy, today announced that it has been selected by Payments eXchange as the winner of the PX Payments Award for Best Corporate or Government Funded Payments Program for 2016.

Payment eXchange launched the PX Payments Awards in 2012 as a platform to recognize achievement, innovation, and leadership in the payments industry over the preceding year. The award categories are independently judged by a panel of diverse experts both from within and outside the industry.

“We’re honored to be recognized at the PX Payments Awards,” said Brent Warrington, Hyperwallet’s CEO. “When Hyperwallet was founded fifteen years ago, our goal was to eliminate the many barriers that stand between global payees and their earnings. Today, that vision is much closer to reality.”

The 2016 winners were announced last week at a black tie gala in Toronto. Other honorees include payroll startup INSTANT and direct bank Tangerine.
