Frictionless Payments @ the Collaborative Economy Conference
The continued growth of the collaborative and on-demand economies has upgraded our expectations around how commerce should be conducted. This is because these new platforms have redefined “seamlessness” by virtually eliminating the friction associated with paying for goods and services. Thanks to this “invisible payments” shift, the buyer no longer worries about whether or not the seller will receive payment for their goods or service. Conversely, the seller can deliver the service/goods without worrying whether the buyer’s payment method is valid or fraudulent.
But what about friction-free distribution on the other end of the payment chain? Shouldn’t workers be provided with the same seamless experience?
Join me, Michael Ting, Hyperwallet’s Senior Vice President of Digital Markets, at the Collaborative Economy Conference next week as I discussion the ongoing evolution of worker payouts and provide some insight into Hyperwallet’s payments platform.
When? Thursday, October 22nd, 9:30 a.m.
Where? Marines’ Memorial Club & Hotel, San Francisco
Fellow speakers include Jeremiah Owyang of Crowd Companies and Chelsea Rustrum, co-author of It’s a Shareable Life. Needless to say, it should be an exciting two days!
