Vote for Hyperwallet @ SXSW 2017
The 2017 SXSW Conference isn’t until March, but voting has already begun to determine which presentations, panels, discussions, and demonstrations will make it into the final program. Hyperwallet has proposed to conduct a talk—hosted by me, Michael Ting (SVP, Digital Markets)—on the role of payouts facilitating a frictionless platform experience, and we hope you’ll help us by taking a moment to vote!
What is the Presentation About?
A marketplace’s primary function is to eliminate any anxiety surrounding the transaction, yet many ecommerce marketplace platforms lack the control necessary to insulate their top sellers from payment disruption. Just like a vehicle’s traction control eliminates wheel slip and enables quick and safe acceleration, tr(ans)action control can help dual-sided marketplaces insulate sellers from third-party outages, avoid expansion friction, and rapidly accelerate growth. There’s just one problem: not every payment solution is equipped with this control capability. This session will give attendees the tools they need to improve their tr(ans)action control and prevent a payment pileup within their marketplace.
Attendees will also learn:
- The difference between a matchmaker platform and a marketplace platform, and why it matters
- How a platform can tell if it should enable tr(ans)action control
- The benefits of a payment solution equipped with tr(ans)action control
